Synopsis of Tea for Two and a Piece of Cake
Little does she know that fate has other plans in store for her. When the wealthy and suave Samir reciprocates her love, an ecstatic Nisha can hardly believe her fairy-tale lifestyle. But the fairy tale comes to a rather shattering end when Samir arbitrarily announces the end of their marriage after 8 long years. Nisha is left abandoned - older, wiser and with two children, and she struggles to pick up the pieces and rebuild her life from scratch. As she see-saws through a series of emotions and feelings of pain and rejection, she finds Akash, an old friend, standing next to her through her dark days. Can Nisha build a new life with Akash or has her soured marriage put her off love forever? The book is all about second opportunities in love.

I got interested in this book and thought the book would be a really nice one. However, I was disappointed. I did not really appreciate the writing style of Shenoy, it looked as if she has just recorded someone's thoughts or dialogues with oneself. The characters are really very ordinary and stereotypical. Samir looks like protagonist straight out of a Mills and Boon novel! It's OK for a one time read.

Completed the book in one sitting. 5 hrs flat..It was impossible to keep my eyes off the book until the last page..This Book is another marvelous gift from the best selling author of "Life is what you make it" and "34 Bubblegums and Candies" .Preeti is doing wonders with every new book she comes up with. The Protagonist Nisha carries you along in roller coaster ride and you will tend to laugh and cry with her . The story is not a conventional love story ,but about relationships and faith that goes beyond the norms of society ... even after the reading the epilogue and back cover you know what the story is ..The Question HOW keeps you turning pages after pages.
very well narrated and a bold topic which speaks about today's Women and more importantly a Mother .
