GREAT WORK ! - A TRUE LOVE STORY

Reviewed by Ankush. Posted on: 16/01/2012

This is the finest of the novels I have read so far , maybe because I can relate to it well , or maybe because it is too mesmerizing. The story of Aarush and Aachankya was so well depicted , that I could almost envisage them as my real friends.Great Work done by the author. I could almost get into the shoes of Aarush , and was carried away into the book , by the feelings of Love which the couple had. The most touching part was towards the end of the story , and the entire way in which the script moved was so smooth and fabulous !

Great Work Sanjeev .. waiting impatiently for more of your works ahead.

Will like to meet you in person , and get my copy signed someday

Disheartening Experience

Reviewed by Bairam k Achyut. Posted on: 25/01/2012

A young Author of 21, penning down his thoughts somewhat captivated me and being a spontaneous person, I picked this novel up from landmark. To my horror and utter surprise, this novel is nothing but a disaster. I am not commenting on the story line because i could not even read through till the end. The author's command over the ENGLISH language is not at all appreciable, in fact, it would not be wrong to say that it is horrible. What surprises me more is that an english professor actually proof read it. To top it off, even the publishing house did not hesitate to print it and finally it is an utter shock to see LANDMARK actually promoting such a novel which has broken all the possible rules of the English Language.

It is indeed a bold move to go out and release a novel but one must also see that the basics are taken care of. Would advise the readers to see for themselves - Just flip open any page and I am sure you would find a couple of errors there. As for the story, I am sure it is a good thought as many people seem to like it but as a novel it is a total disaster.

Many people seem to like this novel. My question to them is WHY???? if it is just for the story, i offer no comments but if its for the language - Hello, read it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry Mr. Sanjeev Ranjan but you should be matured enough to know what a novel actually needs. There are other Indian Authors with whom you can compare your work to. I had rather not name them but as i said, they have their basics in place.

Landmark: To keep your good reputation alive and kicking it would not hurt you to go through a novel before hoisting them up to the public.

Thanks,

Bairam
