Like the Chopin pieces they take their name from (as well as their structure) this collection of studies spans a wide range of moods, tempi & themes: some are short stories in the traditional sense, others are just scenes or images. This is short fiction as you\'ve never known it before. Aseem Kaul lives in Philadelphia, where he is a PhD candidate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Aseem’s poems have appeared in a number of journals including Rhino, Rattle, nthposition and Softblow. Études is his first work of fiction.
